      Great website by two vets with PTSD and a great ability to articulate their experience. Very supportive of vets and families.
    • Military Avenue
      Supporting the Relocation, Travel, and Lifestyle Needs of the American Military Family
    • Gold Star Mothers
      One of several sites resulting from the work of Nadia McCaffrey, Gold Star mother of Patrick McCaffrey, who was killed in Iraq on June 22, 2004. Nadia is a force who is a major friend to all vets and their families.
    • Another Welcome Home Project
      Texas based program bringing musicians together around veterans. Some great music on the site and a very cool project
    • Patriot Tee's
      T Shirts with original art designed in support of veterans around the nation. Purchase on line, proceeds for vets.
    • Farms Not Arms
      Brings veterans to the country, teaches skills, provides temporary housing and training. An excellent program and worth a look.
    • Farmer Veteran Coalition
      A great example of the community (in this case, farmers) joining together with returning veterans to give purpose, training and meaningful direction.
    • Military One Source
      Counseling resources for members of the military and their families. Free and confidential.
    • The Warrior Gateway- a Website for Veterans
      Incredible website to connect vets, both with each other and with jobs, opportunities around the country.
    • Utah Veteran's site
      A site hosted by our friend, Andrew Wilson, a veteran of Vietnam and Afghanistan, and a friend to all vets, esp. in Utah
    • John Fisher, Vietnam Vet, Soldier's Heart Rep.
      John is a Vietnam Vet who works with Ed Tick and leads trips back to Vietnam for Veterans, Families and Friends. A good guy who knows his stuff. Trip details on his site.
    • Her War Her Voice
      Two women, one ex army, both wives of deployed service men - A very personal and supportive site for family members and interested friends.
    • Help for Heroes
      A really good web site about a program in the UK that is raising a lot of money to support wounded veterans in England. Very inspiring.
    • Thank a Soldier
      Wonderful site and blog for vets from (primarily) Canada. The author has a big heart and is doing great work.
    • Ilona Meagher's blog
      She wrote Moving a Nation to Care - This site has a huge resource list and articles, etc. Tremendous resource.
    • VIP - Veteran Improvement Services
      Services for Vets, housing, mental health, jobs, etc.
    • AMVETS
      Outreach and support for all veterans, on many levels. Lots of news about current programs, events, etc. They have been around since 1944
    • Nadia McCaffrey's foundation
      Valley Forge Village - a project that has the potential to provide a unique place for military service members, veterans and their families to heal, to learn new skills and enhance their inherent resiliency.
    • Stress Project
      On going study on positive effects of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for working with PTSD. Looks extremely promising
